Dr. Kimberly Sam Aing is not just a physical therapist, she’s a dedicated partner in your journey to optimal health. As a Houston native and the founder of Unify Osteopractic Physical Therapy & Wellness, Dr. Aing combines advanced clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to deliver exceptional care.
Dr. Aing holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), possesses a Diploma in Osteopractic, and is a Certified Musculoskeletal Ultrasonographer, placing her among the top 2% of physical therapists globally.
Her advanced training includes mentorship under renowned sports physiotherapist Dave O’Sullivan, known for his work with the England Rugby League and the Houston Open. This extensive education enables Dr. Aing to diagnose and treat complex neuromuscular conditions effectively, helping patients achieve faster and more sustainable recoveries.
Frustrated by the limitations of traditional outpatient clinics, Dr. Aing established Unify PT to prioritize quality over quantity. She offers one-on-one, all-inclusive sessions tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. Her comprehensive approach focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying drivers of pain, rather than merely alleviating symptoms, to prevent recurrence and promote long-term wellness.
Dr. Aing helps people who want to feel better, move more, and live without pain. She works with parents who want to stay active with their kids and grandkids, active adults looking to return to the activities they love, and anyone tired of feeling stiff, stuck, or limited by pain.
Some of her patients are ready to finally take care of pain they’ve put off for too long. Others are athletes—high school, college, and pro—who need expert care to keep performing at a high level. Dr. Aing has years of experience working with overhead athletes, contact sport players, runners, jumpers, racquet-sport athletes, and weightlifters.
Her approach goes beyond just treating symptoms. Dr. Aing focuses on finding and addressing the actual causes of pain and dysfunction, so the issue is less likely to come back. She believes true recovery means not just feeling better, but moving better and staying that way.
