Dr. Kimberly Sam Aing is a Houston native and the founder of Unify Osteopractic Physical Therapy and Wellness. She works with people who are frustrated that their pain keeps coming back, especially after seeing multiple providers and doing everything they were told to do. If you are tired of short term fixes and want real answers, this is where Dr. Aing does her best work.
Dr. Aing earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists, holds a Diploma in Osteopractic, and has completed certification in Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography. This advanced training places her among a small percentage of physical therapists worldwide with this level of clinical specialization.
Her background includes mentorship under internationally recognized sports physiotherapist Dave O’Sullivan, known for his work with the England Rugby League and the Houston Open. Dr. Aing has worked with professional and elite athletes across the NFL and MLB, as well as marathon runners, HYROX competitors, and competitive volleyball, soccer, and tennis athletes. This experience sharpened her ability to assess complex movement problems, manage high training demands, and treat injuries that do not respond to standard care.
After years in traditional outpatient clinics, Dr. Aing saw how often patients were rushed through appointments or given generic plans that never addressed the real problem. She created Unify PT to focus on quality care, offering one on one sessions that are fully tailored to each individual. Her approach centers on finding the true source of pain and correcting it so patients can move forward with confidence.
Dr. Aing works with active adults who want their bodies to keep up with their lives, parents who refuse to be sidelined by pain, and athletes who expect their bodies to perform at a high level. Whether the goal is returning to sport, training at a high capacity, or simply moving without fear, she meets patients where they are and builds from there.
Her philosophy is straightforward. Pain has a reason. Movement can be trained. Lasting recovery comes from addressing root causes, not just symptoms. Dr. Aing helps her patients move better, feel stronger, and stay out of the cycle of recurring pain.
